I am committed to working on the ground to bring service providers together and advocate for shared priorities. My office will produce a report from this gathering with specific requests that address the most pressing challenges in Saanich North and the Islands.

Community Dialogue – Healthcare
Jan 20 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Community Dialogue - Healthcare @ Constituency Office (SAN) | Sidney | British Columbia | Canada

Healthcare Dialogue Event Summary

A majority of my meetings with constituents have been about the delivery of healthcare. We are hosting two symposiums with providers, one on the Saanich Peninsula and one on Salt Spring Island to gain a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities of how we can deliver these services more efficiently.

Please join me for a community dialogue to discuss our health system. From wellness and prevention to family medicine, acute and long-term care, we have a lot to discuss.

The government has identified many potential ideas to make the system better but have yet to act.
What are your ideas? How can we do better?

Join me for what promises to be a lively and interesting discussion about the future of our healthcare system.

Health Care Town Hall with Minister Adrian Dix
Jan 24 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Health Care Town Hall with Minister Adrian Dix @ St. Paul's United Church | Sidney | British Columbia | Canada

An evening with Hon. Adrian Dix

Whether service providers or patients, health care is a central focus of a majority of the meetings in my office.

We are working to better understand the challenges, and collect ideas to improve the system. To that end, we are hosting several events to hear from all parts of the community. We start with an event for health professionals, followed by a Community Dialogue for the public. Finally, you get to hear directly from the Minister of Health, Hon. Adrian Dix.

We are just getting started. This won’t be the last chance to connect with us on health care. But, don’t miss this excellent opportunity to ask your question or share your ideas? Please join us!
